Story line
The title "24 Oras" (24 Hours) is a very appropriate one. News happens 24 hours in 7 days a week. The show swears by this rule. I'm very satisfied that they bring neutral, comprehensive news like no other 6pm Philippine news program can. Mike Enriquez is known for his brave takes on socio-political matters. His trademark "Excuse me po" when he coughs has transcended into the Filipino pop culture. Mel Tiangco is her female counterpart. Both main newscasters are very professional. Pia Guanio, and recently Iya Villania, delivers showbiz news that light up your mood. Also, their field reports are very good. I think it's because of the strict reporting standards GMA News implements.
